             Membership

  

To be eligible for membership in the Fraternal Order of Eagles, you must be a citizen of the United States or Canada over the age of 18 who believes in God.

To show our appreciation, we offer all Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, Military Police, Military Firefighters, Correctional Officers, and all Inactive Military one-year complimentary membership  they pay no initiation fees with the Eagles.

You must be sponsored by two members of a Fraternal Order of Eagles' Aerie or Auxiliary. The Eagle member who proposes you for membership can obtain a membership application from the Aerie Secretary, Auxiliary Secretary, one of our bartenders or print this Application Form.  Fill out the application for membership and submit the membership application to the Aerie Secretary, Jim Jakubowski or Auxiliary Secretary, Diana Nickens.

Your application will be read at a regular Aerie/Auxiliary meeting and you will then be interviewed. Our meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month and last about an hour. After the interview is concluded, the interviewing committee will give a report to the  Aerie/Auxiliary, during a meeting, regarding  recommendation of your membership and you will be voted on.

When the positive vote is concluded, you will be notified and asked to present yourself for the Fraternal Order of Eagles Initiation Ritual. Normal meeting is opened and than the Initiation Ritual is done on the third Tuesday each month.  Auxiliary meetings start at 6:00p.m. the Aerie meetings start at 7:00p.m.

After initiation as an Eagle you will be given a membership card and a key card to enter our Club.  Now can take part in all meetings and social functions at our Club. As a member you can visit any other FOE in the world by showing your membership card.

Memorial Foundation

The F.O.E. stands strong in its unprecedented array of assistance for surviving children of members who die while serving their country or at work. These children are able to obtain grants for higher education, as well as medical, dental, vision and hospitalization assistance. This assistance is extended to the biological, adopted or step-children of Eagle members.

The 37 acre campground accommodations feature four cabins, multiple RV sites and primitive sites for tent camping. Pets are welcome.

There is a pond with a sand beach for swimming and two ponds for fishing, no license required. Other activities available to campers include volleyball, basketball, tetherball, horseshoes and a playground for the children. Each Saturday morning at 10 AM there are crafts at the "Kids Korner". The pavilion offers
a great area for family picnics and has activities scheduled throughout the season. The bath houses have hot showers and flush toilets, and there is a laundry facility on the campground. The season runs from April 1 through October 31.

The campground is a short drive from many local attractions including the Ohio and Zane-Shawnee Caverns, Marmon Valley Farm Riding Stable, multiple golf  cources,  Indian Lake State Park,  Piatt Castles,  Orr Mansion & Logan County Museum, Fisher's Flea Market and shopping off the square in downtown Bellefontaine
